If a person has no cards in their hand that can go on top of the discard face up deck, they can pick as many cards as they want off of the face down deck. Occasionally, the play will stop long enough for players to be able to focus what is in their hands.

The card game of speed is similar to Uno, except that no one takes turns playing. The game moves very quickly and the first player who gets rid of all of his or her cards is the winner.
